The postpartum period brings about a range of changes as the body undergoes physical recovery, hormonal adjustments, and emotional transitions after childbirth. Hormone levels shift, the uterus contracts back to its pre-pregnancy size, and the body takes on new roles.

Unfortunately for many women the pelvis doesn’t return to pre-pregnancy mobility and position leaving behind pain and tightness. The pelvic joints undergo considerable transformations during pregnancy and the labor/delivery process, often resulting in shifts in bone position and joint mobility. Chiropractic care is a safe and gentle way of providing your pelvis with the support and mobility it needs.

The postpartum period also introduces the body to novel stresses, as it assumes new roles such as breastfeeding, baby carrying, and multitasking while carrying the baby.
